“I never wanted this to just be about fashion. I wanted it to be about healing confidence. Hair loss can affect people deeply, emotionally and mentally, and I wanted TAMZ to be something that made people still feel beautiful, still feel stylish, and still feel like themselves.” — Keldamuzik

The creator of TAMZ has fused her worlds of music, fashion, activism, and storytelling into a lifestyle brand that puts confidence at the center of every design. Known for its modern take on statement berets and headwear, TAMZ isn’t simply about style—it’s about empowerment, inclusivity, and redefining beauty on your own terms.

KeldamuzikINTERVIEW WITH KELDAMUZIK

Q: TAMZ blends music, fashion, sustainability, and comfort into one brand. How did your journey as a hip-hop artist influence the creation and style of TAMZ?
Keldamuzik:
Being in music taught me early that style speaks before you do. As an artist, people see you before they hear you, so image always mattered—but I never wanted fashion to just be about looking good. I wanted it to mean something. Traveling, performing, meeting people from all walks of life—it showed me how confidence can change everything. TAMZ came from that. I wanted to create something stylish, comfortable, and meaningful that made people feel powerful the moment they put it on.

Q: Confidence is at the heart of your message. How do you believe fashion—especially statement headwear—can empower people to embrace their individuality?
Keldamuzik:
Sometimes one piece can change your whole mood. You put on the right hat, the right beret, and suddenly your whole energy shifts. Fashion gives people confidence without needing validation. Especially with statement headwear, it tells the world you’re bold enough to be seen. I love that because confidence starts with how you feel about yourself first.

Q: TAMZ was created to support people from all walks of life, including those experiencing hair loss from cancer treatments and alopecia. Why was inclusivity such an important part of the brand’s identity?

Keldamuzik:
Because I never wanted this to just be about fashion. I wanted it to be about healing confidence. Hair loss can affect people deeply, emotionally and mentally, and I wanted TAMZ to be something that made people still feel beautiful, still feel stylish, and still feel like themselves. Everybody deserves that. Inclusivity was never an add-on—it was the reason.

Q: Headwear has become a major fashion statement in recent years. How is TAMZ redefining the modern beret and making it relevant for today’s fashion culture?
Keldamuzik:
We took something classic and made it fresh again. TAMZ isn’t just the old-school beret—it’s modern, versatile, and easy to wear whether you’re dressed up or just running around handling business. It’s fashion with personality. It’s not trying too hard, but it still stands out.

Q: Sustainability is an important part of your brand mission. Why was it essential for TAMZ to use ethically sourced fabrics and mindful production practices?
Keldamuzik:
Because if I’m building something with purpose, I want every part of it to reflect that. I didn’t want to create fashion that looked good on the outside but ignored what happens behind the scenes. Being mindful about fabrics, production, and how things are made matters. People care more now, and honestly, they should.

Q: Your designs are both stylish and purpose-driven. How do you balance creating fashion-forward pieces while still keeping comfort and accessibility at the forefront?
Keldamuzik:
I always say if it looks good but feels uncomfortable, people won’t keep wearing it. I wanted TAMZ to feel good first. Comfort is confidence too. I think real style happens when people don’t have to force it—they just naturally feel good in what they’re wearing.

Q: TAMZ has been featured through nontraditional fashion shows and diverse model showcases. Why do you think representation in fashion matters now more than ever?
Keldamuzik:
Because real people need to see real people. Not everybody fits one standard of beauty, and honestly, that standard is outdated anyway. Fashion should reflect the world we actually live in—different women, different stories, different backgrounds. Representation builds confidence because people finally feel included instead of overlooked.

Q: As an artist, actress, TV host, and entrepreneur, how does your creative background continue to inspire the evolution of TAMZ as a fashion and lifestyle brand?

Keldamuzik:
Everything connects. Music gave me my voice, TV taught me how to connect with people, acting taught me storytelling, and business taught me discipline. TAMZ sits right in the middle of all of that. It’s not separate from me—it’s part of who I am.

Q: Fashion and activism often intersect in your work. How do you use TAMZ as a platform to spread awareness, positivity, and support for causes connected to women’s health and confidence?
Keldamuzik:
I believe your brand should stand for something bigger than sales. With TAMZ, I wanted to create conversations around women’s confidence, hair loss awareness, alopecia, and support for women going through cancer treatments. If I can use fashion to make someone feel stronger or less alone, that means more to me than anything.

Q: Looking ahead, what is your vision for the future of TAMZ, and how do you hope the brand continues to influence both fashion and empowerment on a global scale?
Keldamuzik:
I want TAMZ to be known worldwide—not just as a fashion brand, but as a movement. I want women everywhere to put it on and feel powerful. I want it in stores, on runways, in fashion shows, and in communities making real change. The goal is simple: style with purpose and confidence with impact.
